28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, the Plot of the Movie
28 Years Later: The Bone Temple is a horror and thriller movie currently in production. It’s the sequel to 28 Years Later (2025), which tells the story of a group of survivors of the Rage virus living on a small island. When one of the group leaves the island for a mission on the mainland, they discover secrets, wonders, and horrors that have changed not only the infected but also other survivors.
The plot is set after the events of the previous movie: in a post-apocalyptic Great Britain devastated by the Rage virus, Spike (Alfie Williams) is introduced to Sir Jimmy Crystal’s band of acrobatic killers. Meanwhile, Dr. Ian Kelson establishes a new relationship with potentially world-changing consequences.
“I remember details, events, people,” says Ian Kelson (Ralph Fiennes) in the released trailer. “The world had its order.” Then he approaches an infected. “When the infected attack, what do they see?” he asks while touching them. “I believe the infection can be cured.”
