Psycho Killer is the upcoming horror and thriller movie. The plot follows Jane Thorne (Georgina Campbell), a police officer whose mission is to capture a serial killer nicknamed “Satanic Slasher” in the news.

The killer has also murdered her husband, a policeman. As the hunt progresses, Jane realizes the man is a sadistic serial killer and that the depth of his mental depravity and his sinister plan are more twisted than anyone could have imagined.

“Not even forty-eight hours have passed since you buried your husband,” says a voice off-screen to Jane; “what I hope to help you understand is that the outcome is inevitable.” Jane shoots at a man fleeing in a car along a road, the same man who killed her husband. Scenes follow with a bare-chested man raising his hands to the sky, and Jane screaming.

Georgina Campbell has worked in Barbarian and Bird Box Barcelona and The Watchers with Dakota Fanning. Logan Miller plays the role of Marvin: he has acted in Escape Room 2 - Deadly Game, A New York Story and episodes of Chicago Med.

The cast also includes Cassandra Ebner, previously seen in Shazam! and the TV series The Last of Us; David Tomlinson, performer in Stealing Vows and the series Fellow Travelers; James Preston Rogers, who portrays the murderer. The director is Gavin Polone, who has previously directed Finding Carter and Twisted; the screenplay is by Andrew Kevin Walker, who has written movies such as Se7en and Sleepy Hollow.

The project was in development for several years with different directors: a first draft of the screenplay—written by Andrew Kevin Walker—appeared online in 2007, and various directors followed including Fred Durst, Gavin Polone, with Eli Roth and Eric Newman as producers.

Production is by New Regency and Constantin Film. Filming has already taken place in 2023, and the movie will be released in US theaters on February 20, 2026.
