The Hawk follows Lonnie “The Hawk” Hawkins, a professional golfer making a final run at golf’s Grand Slam. Once the No. 1 golfer in 2004, Lonnie’s career has declined, and he now attempts a comeback. The series explores his personal and professional challenges, including his strained relationships with his estranged wife Stacy and son Lance.
The story is set against the backdrop of Lonnie’s East Coast bus tour, which features games, prizes, and appearances by Lonnie himself. The tour and Lonnie’s journey are documented in the series, which blends comedy with sports drama.
