The Plot of Wrath: Amnesia and Fights in the Octagon

Wrath is the Brazilian action-thriller series set in the world of mixed martial arts and follows Marcelo, portrayed by Vinicius Neri, a young man saved from death by an MMA coach. Marcelo remembers nothing of his previous life and finds a new purpose in the ring.

The protagonist delves into the MMA universe, and begins to discover clues about his past: he finds himself entangled in a web of crimes, secrets and rivalries that extends beyond the cage. The series is created by Igor Verde and Gustavo Bragança, with direction by José Henrique Fonseca. Eduardo Pop and Fernanda Laignier are executive producers for the co-production between Netflix and Zola Films.

The Cast of Wrath: From Bianca Comparato to Babu Santana

Alongside Vinicius Neri, the cast includes Alice Carvalho in the role of Fúria, Bianca Comparato as Yana Novaes, Cláudia Raia in the role of Dienifer and Eduardo Moscovis as Henrique Novaes. Completing the cast are Fábio Lago (Tony), MC Cabelinho (Malamute), Babu Santana and Zé Wendell in the role of Fabrizzio.

Bianca Comparato acted in 3%, a Brazilian dystopian series distributed by Netflix between 2016 and 2020. Fábio Lago appeared in Elite Squad (2007), while Babu Santana participated in City of God (2002) by Fernando Meirelles. Vinicius Neri worked in Lupi, Alice Carvalho in Love Is a Knife. Eduardo Moscovis is known for The Thorn and the Rose, while Cláudia Raia acted in Belíssima. MC Cabelinho appeared in A Mother's Love and Zé Wendell in Galera FC.
