From horror movie Satanic to the TV series Yellowjackets: interview with actor Steven Krueger

On the one hand, the movie is just a fun, suspenseful story that's meant to scare people for a couple of hours.  I try not to artificially assign deeper meaning to films in the horror genre.  However, I do think this film has a special message that may resonate with some people.  On the surface it appears that we're trying to say if you mess with the devil, you'll end up getting burned (literally!).  But if you look deeper I also think the movie reminds people that you don't always know everything, even if you think you do.  Humility is a virtue.
