From horror movie Satanic to the TV series Yellowjackets: interview with actor Steven Krueger

Probably the most challenging part of being an actor is figuring out how to stay motivated.  Even if you work all the time you will always have days and weeks with nothing to do.  Sometimes it's easy to be lazy and do nothing all day long.  But over the years I've trained myself to treat this like any other job and find ways to work productively every day.  I spend time working on upcoming auditions, honing my craft in acting class, and writing and filming scenes with other actors.  I also make sure to exercise almost every day and I'm currently learning how to play the piano and speak Spanish as fluently as I possibly can.  All of these things are either directly or indirectly related to my acting career and the busier I keep myself on a daily basis, the happier I am throughout the down time in between jobs.
