The Bride, the movie’s plot
The Bride is the drama and horror movie coming out. Frankenstein (Christian Bale) is a monster who - in the 1930s - goes to Chicago to ask for the help of Dr. Euphronius (Jake Gyllenhaal): his goal is to create a companion for himself (Jessie Buckley). The two bring back to life a young murdered woman, and the new creature is born.
But a love story erupts between the two, attracting the attention of the police, and that of a radical social movement. “There was no accident. We did it on purpose” says a voice in the released trailer, while a woman is lying on an operating table. “Now there’s nothing left to do but live” says Frankenstein. Scenes of struggle follow, until Frankenstein and the woman find themselves in an alley, with him beating a man: “Till death do us part” he says.
