How to Make a Killing, the movie plot
How to Make a Killing is the comedy and thriller movie coming out. The plot focuses on Becket Redfellow (Glen Powell), heir to a multi-million dollar fortune who stops at nothing to obtain what he believes he deserves. When Mary died, Becket decided to follow through on his conviction that he was destined for greatness, regardless of how cynical he had to be to achieve it.
Mary had always claimed that success had been stolen from her, and now Becket wants to seize it: so he devises a murderous plan to eliminate the seven Redfellow relatives who stand between him and his inheritance. As the heirs die one after another, in a series of imaginative accidents, Becket must also manage his relationship with his beloved fiancée, Ruth (Jessica Henwick), for whom money means nothing, and the growing attention of Julia (Margaret Qualley), an old flame, who is ambitious instead.
“From the day I was born, my mother told me we were different” says Becket in the released trailer. “Yes she had been disowned by her family, but one day I would become the sole heir”. “What happened to the Redfellow family fortune?” asks Julia; “all inherited. One day”; “call me when you’ve killed them all. There were seven”.
Then he kills one of the relatives who is on a yacht, tying his foot to an anchor, which ends up in the sea dragging him down.
