The new Apple TV+ thriller with Tatiana Maslany

Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed is the thriller and comedy series coming out. The production, created by David J. Rosen, consists of ten half-hour episodes and will debut on the Apple TV+ platform on May 20 with the first two episodes.

The plot: a divorced mother between crime and youth soccer

The series tells the story of Paula, played by Tatiana Maslany, a mother recovering from a divorce who finds herself involved in a spiral of blackmail and murders. The character, convinced of having witnessed a crime, starts a personal investigation while facing a legal battle for custody of her daughter. The narrative interweaves thriller elements with the protagonist's identity crisis, as she seeks to rebuild her sense of self through the investigation of a possible conspiracy.

The cast: from Brandon Flynn to Murray Bartlett

Alongside Maslany is Jake Johnson, with a cast that includes Brandon Flynn, Murray Bartlett, Jon Michael Hill, Charlie Hall, Kiarra Hamagami Goldberg, Nola Wallace and Dolly De Leon.

Production: David J. Rosen and David Gordon Green

The series is born from the collaboration between Apple Studios and Counterpart Studios. David J. Rosen, already creator of Sugar and Hunters, writes the screenplay and holds the role of showrunner. The direction is entrusted to David Gordon Green, who recently directed Nutcrackers and worked on Mythic Quest and The Righteous Gemstones.

The executive production involves Simon Kinberg and Audrey Chon for Genre Films, within the framework of the agreement with Apple TV+, Bard Dorros for Anonymous Content and Tony Hernandez, Lilly Burns and Elise Henderson for Counterpart Studios.
