The role I play, Roger Otter, is that of an executive with Phillip Morris, the sponsor of the I Love Lucy show. There are a number of executives from CBS and Phillip Morris who are in charge of the show, and I play the main exec at Phillip Morris. We tell Lucy and Desi what they can and can’t do with the show. Just how well that goes for us; you’ll have to see the film to find out.
