On Swift Horses, the plot of the movie
On Swift Horses is the new drama movie in production. Newlyweds Muriel (Daisy Edgar-Jones) and Lee (Will Poulter) are starting a new life after he returns from the war in Korea. But the arrival of Lee's charismatic younger brother Julius (Jacob Elordi), a rebellious gambler with a secret, creates a dangerous love triangle. The three vow to start a new life together in California: when Julius disappears and heads instead to Las Vegas-to follow Henry, a card cheat-Muriel embarks on a secret life, betting on racehorses, and discovering a love she thought impossible.

Daisy Edgar-Jones stars in the TV series Normal People, as Marianne Sheridan, and worked on Where the Crawdads Sing. Will Poulter in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has the part of Adam Warlock; Jacob Elordi has previously worked on the movie series The Kissing Booth (read the interview), and Deep Water, also starring Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas. Also in the cast is Diego Calva, previously seen in Babylon and who will be in Bird Box Barcelona. It is directed by Daniel Minahan, who has directed episodes of American Crime Story and Homeland. The screenplay is based on Shannon Pufahl's novel On Swift Horses (Electric Horses) published in 2019.
On Swift Horses, the filming and release of the movie
The production is by Ley Line Entertainment and Killer Films. Filming began in Los Angeles on February 28, 2023. "I don't know if I can tell, but we're going to have some pretty hot scenes in this movie," Diego Calva told Variety. On Swift Horses is expected to be released in 2023 or 2024.
