Rugby and cinema: interview with actress Emily Shah, actress of film Jungle Cry
Emily Shah is actress of film Jungle Cry
You worked on the movie Jungle Cry. Can you tell us about this experience?
My experience on Jungle Cry was very different than other acting jobs. Of course, there was the element of preparing for the role, doing the homework, going through the process but, there was a bigger responsibility that I realized while shooting. I had the pleasure to work with young boys from rural parts of India who were orphans, members of tribes or slum kids. I knew their time on Jungle Cry would change their lives in some capacity, be it emotionally or physically. I had the opportunity to contribute to their lives, beyond the sets and silver screen, as well as learn from them and their diverse backgrounds. Jungle Cry will always have a special place in my heart because of it being my first major role in a feature and for how the story and the boys I worked with impacted my life, something I will never take for granted.
